Another great outdoor venue option for a ceremony is parks! According to the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, if you are planning a simple event for a small group, you may conduct the wedding in just about any public place on the property. Read more about it here.
ELKS LODGE
Located in the heart of downtown Wausau, this beautiful building features three floors of living history. Visiting members and friends can see the legacy of the Wausau Elks come alive in its architecture and interior. Its elegant detailing and comfortable furnishings make the lodge an incredible venue for all types of events and celebrations!

LABOR TEMPLE (LT CLUB)
Just off downtown Wausau, the Labor Temple is a versatile space with everything you need to say your "I dos" or party your hearts out! With an in-house bar and sound system, this venue is a go-to, affordable favorite.

ROTHSCHILD PAVILION
If you're having a large wedding and need ample space, the Rothschild Pavilion is the perfect place for you! A showplace for more than a century, the Historic Rothschild Pavilion, built in 1911, features a 6,760 square foot dance floor constructed of 1 ½” inch maple strips supported by 24 large railcar springs atop granite stone foundations. These springs give the vast floor flexibility and strength, while providing a wonderful surface for dancing. The "floating" dance floor is believed to be the only one of its kind in the entire United States.

Dale's WESTON LANES
With over 25 years of wedding experience, we want you to experience the wedding of your dreams. We can accommodate a variety of different-sized groups and have several options available to make your day perfect. We will get your day set up (decorating is not included) and do all the clean up. We offer white or black linen tablecloths and white, black, or colored napkins. You will also get a skirted head table with staging as well as tables for gifts, a guest book, and the cake. You will have a private bar with bartender(s) and wait staff. You will have a great dance floor with AV Equipment for any slide shows with sound and microphones for speeches. We will also provide a cake-cutting service for you. Our on-site Wedding Coordinator is here to help you along the way.
