Tim White Executive Director

Tim is responsible for the mission and strategy of the CVB and all staff activities. Tim works with the Board of Directors to represent seven communities as one destination. Tim is committed to marketing the area as a destination location. "Our goal is to guide visitors from around the corner and world in experiencing the adventure that is the Greater Wausau area."

Jodi Maguire Director of Operations

Jodi manages VisitWausau overall business operations. She is committed to showcasing the greater Wausau area to everyone. If you're interested in group tours, presentations, marketing your organization with us, Jodi is the connector!

Alysa Steinhilber

Alysa Steinhilber Director of Marketing

Alysa is passionate about sharing the Greater Wausau area's story of being a four-season destination perfect for finding adventure and making memories. As the Marketing Director, she focuses on positioning the area as a premier destination for tourism in Wisconsin. She develops and executes innovative marketing programs and plans that attract visitors to experience the abundance of outdoor recreation activities, arts and cultural offerings, dining, and shopping in the surrounding area.

Cheryl Wolken

Cheryl Wolken VisitWausau Ambassador

Cheryl Wolken is a local author, website owner, and marketer of the Wausau area. In 2018, Cheryl created WausauMama.com, a website for parents, from the ground-up. In 2021, after realizing there was not a children's book about the Wausau area, Cheryl wrote and designed The ABCs of Wausau, which has become a local bestseller. In 2022, Cheryl was hired by the Community Foundation of North Central Wisconsin as the Wausau Area Marketing Specialist promoting the area as a “Wausome” place to live.

Tiffany Rodriguez-Lee

Tiffany Rodriguez-Lee VisitWausau Ambassador

Tiffany serves as the Executive Director for the Center for Visual Arts and has lived in the area for over 10 years. Tiffany is passionate about the arts and culture of the Wausau area, and works to promote the community's liveability through her work and personal pursuits. She enjoys cross country skiing in the winter, a good cup of coffee at a local shop, and finding the best spots for local music, good food, and experiences throughout the Greater Wausau area.

Gary Barden

Gary Barden Creative Team

Working professionally as a freelance graphic designer since '95, Gary (Gary Barden Design) has been creating branding materials for companies and organizations regionally and nationally with major emphasis in logo design and illustration. Being outdoors is a requirement. Gary enjoys mountain biking year-round, xc and jump parks in the spring, summer and fall as well as fat biking in the winter months with his wife Jen. Other activities include disc golf, hiking and camping in their custom built camper van.

Brenton Wildman

Brenton Wildman Creative Team

Brenton is usually found behind the camera or at his computer creating videos of the Greater Wausau area. As a Wausau native and world traveler he is passionate about making meaningful story-driven content to highlight the beauty and energy of the region. His production company, Wildman Creative, has worked alongside many businesses and non-profits to build brand awareness and showcase Wausau's ability to be a great place to live, work, and visit.
