The Wausau/Central Wisconsin Convention & Visitors Bureau is your source for planning visits to the greater Wausau area. Our downtown Wausau Visitor Center is a great resource for information about Wausau/Central Wisconsin, Marathon County, and the State of Wisconsin. Located two miles east of exit 192 off Hwy 51 at 219 Jefferson Street in downtown Wausau. The Visitor Center has NEW hours as we reopen during the COVID-19 Pandemic - Weekdays 10 am - 4 pm and closed on weekends.

Carly works closely with local suppliers, hotels, conference facilities, and the community to provide the needed information to bring new business to Wausau/Central Wisconsin.
Project/Event Development Sales Manager
Scott is responsible for promoting the Wausau area as a destination for larger sporting events through the CVB's Sports Authority program. Scott works closely with athletic directors, sports commissioners and promoters to attract new sporting events to the Wausau area. Scott is also jointly responsible for the Wausau Marathon running series of race events.
Visitor Services Manager
Jodi manages the CVB's Visitor Center and all visitor inquiries. If you stop in or call the Visitor Center with a question about the Wausau area, chances are you will talk to Jodi! Other responsibilities include coordinating our Brochure Distribution Program, handling our Visitors Magazine requests and fulfilling welcome bags for meetings and conferences.
