Registration Deadline: July 24, 2021 4 pm. Registration forms received after deadline or during the festival must pay a $50 late registration fee. There will be a $40 fee for all returned checks.
Deposit/Late Registration Fee: May check, money order, cashier’s check payable to Hmong American Center, Inc.
All athletes must sign the Waiver on the printable registration forms or online or at check-in.

All athletes MUST sign the Badger State Games Athlete Waiver online during registration or on the printable registration forms at check-in. Please the form completely out or it will not be accepted. (Waiver is attached to the registration form).
Besides receiving a Badger State Games Gold, Silver, Bronze Medal the top three winners will also receive Prize Money.

6 Ft Under/Hmong Tournament. To be able to compete you have to be either Hmong or under 6ft in height.
There must be at least one person in the court at all times and there can not be more than 6 players on the court at any time during game play.
The referees will have the final say.
All teams must show up to draw on Saturday, July 31(the first day) at 9am.
Teams will draw into a number of set pools/brackets (determined based on the number of teams).
Once the drawing concludes -- game play will begin.
On the first day you will play the teams in your pool. We will try to get through as many rounds as possible.
On the first day each match will consist of two games played rally to 21 or 25 (determined based on the number of teams).
If you win both games you will account 3 points. If you split the games each of the teams will get one point each. These points will be used to determine your seating in your pool.
Losers will ref the next match in their pool. If you split one person from each team will have to ref.
We will keep track of all points acquired by each during pool play.
All teams must be ready to play on Sunday, August 2nd (the second day) at 9am.
On the second day you will be ranked based on the number of points acquired during the first day. All teams in the upper half of their pool/brackets will move on to the Gold Division and play for the prizes in the
Gold Division. All teams in the lower half of their pool/brackets will move on to the Silver Division and play for the prizes in the Silver Division.
Once Divisions have been determined. Playoffs will begin and all teams will compete in single elimination match (best out of 3)
Game Play & Rules:
On the first day matches will consist of 2 games played rally to 21 or 25 (based on the number of teams).
On the second day matches will be best out of 3 and scoring will be determined on the day of (based on the number of teams).
All teams must rotate and may only have a maximum of 3 players in the front row at any given time.
Stacking is not required and any player may position themselves anywhere within the court when the whistle blows.
Substitutions may only happen when a play is rotating from the back row into the front row or from the front row into the back row.
The only exception to the substitution rule is in the case of an injury.
Each team is allowed two timeouts per game.
Let serves will result in an automatic sideout or point based on day.
Setting the serve or an open hand pass is not allowed and will result in a sideout or point for the opposing team.
If the ball is intentionally set into the opponent's court, the player must contact the ball with two hands above his/her shoulders and set it directly forward with their body facing forward.
A legal set directed toward a teammate that crosses the net will result in an side out or point for the opposing team.
No player is allowed to step on/over the centerline.
Double contact on a hard driven spike is not allowed and will result in a sideout or point for the opposing team.
For those that want to cheer on our athletes and to see them bring home the gold here are a few tips:
Best place to view the event & how much you can see: Bring your own chairs or towels/blankets.
Seating Available or bring your own chairs: Limited outdoor seating - see above.
Admission Fee: Not for spectators.
Concessions: Yes, concessions on site.
