The Wausau Nordic Ski Club and the Badger State Games have jointly decided to cancel this year’s Nordic Skiing events that were to be held on January 30th due to the current Covid-19 situation. The safety of our athletes and volunteers is our top priority and without making drastic changes to how we structure the event, it would be difficult at best to be able to put on a quality event, let alone, one that people would enjoy. We fully anticipate the current health crisis will improve over the next several months and we will be able to bring back the Badger State Games for Nordic Skiing bigger and better than ever in 2022. We appreciate the support you have given this event over the years and look forward to seeing you then. In the meantime, we’d encourage you to take part in outdoor activities that you can do on your own safely and enjoy nature.
