Spectator Information:
For those that want to cheer on our athletes and to see them bring home the gold here are a few tips:
Best place to view the event & how much you can see: Spectators at the finish line will be able to see 80 % of the race, from the start line 20%
Seating Available or bring your own chairs: Bring your own chairs
Admission Fee: No
Concessions: Concessions available in the Lodge
Merchandise:
Signs or Noise makers: YES! Cow bells are highly encouraged :)
Other information: It is about a 250 yard hike up a 10 degree grade to the Start or Finish. To see the start spectators need to park at the Visitor Center parking lot at the entrance to the park and walk up to the upper Ski Patrol Building. The start is adjacent to the Ski Patrol building. This requires having a Wisconsin State Park Sticker. To get to the Finish from the Historic Chalet, proceed up lower Hot Cocoa to where Spruce Glen intersects and you will see the finish to your right. (Across, to the right, and up the hill a bit from the top of Blizzard surface lift). No one can ride the lift without skis on.
