Summer Games Tournament has been Cancelled.

Special first time ever Virtual Martial Arts Tournament for Badger State Games.

Saturday April 25th, 2020 at 10:00 am:  Weapons

Saturday May 2nd, 2020 at 10:00 am:  Forms

Compete from your own home or backyard for Gold, Silver, Bronze Medals.

Compete on your computer, laptop, I-pad, or phone.

We will be using the Zoom platform.

We will be emailing you the Zoom link to compete.

It's as easy as clicking on the link and your ready to compete!

If you will be using a phone or i-pad you will need to download 

the Free Zoom App.  But once you have it downloaded you can then click on

the link that we email you and you will be in the competition.  If you have any problems

or questions we are here to help make this a fun and enjoyable competition.

Athlete Info:

Cost is $20 for first event and $10 for second

If you would like to compete in both Weapons & Forms the total would be $30.

Registration is online only and open until Tuesday April 21st, 2020 at Midnight.

Medals will be awarded and sent in the mail or if you live within 30 miles of Wausau can be picked up at CVB office.


We are really excited to be able to offer this Virtual Competition and a great way to stay active and up to date on your Martial Arts skills.

Also anyone that medals is also qualified for the 2021 State Games of America in Iowa.  More info to come.  https://www.iowagames.org/

Our Summer Games Dates are still to be determined.

We are thinking sometime in the Fall for an event or maybe another Virtual Competition.

New to the Summer Games:  Generation 1 Daedo Sparring will be available in Ring 1
Bring your own dado socks.  Limited quantity and sizes will be available to rent or use.

Boards must be purchased on site for $3 each, Bricks must be purchased on site for $5 each

BSG Martial Arts will be offering Adaptive Divisions for all events!

Printable Registration Form - All athletes MUST sign the Badger State Games Printable Waiver Form online during registration or on the printable registration forms at check-in. Please the form completely out or it will not be accepted.

*Team Forms Competition!

This has the same rules as regular poomsae competition, with the following exceptions:

Teams can be composed of 2-8 people.

All competitors should still remain within the confines of the mat area.  

All competitors on the same team should perform the same form.  This allows the competitors to be judged on synchronization, a key component of team forms.

One person (the leader) from your team should announce the form and what school you are from, along with starting all competitors in their form.

Spectator Information

For those that want to cheer on our athletes and to see them bring home the gold here are a few tips:

Best place to view the event & how much you can see: Spectators may watch the entire event.
Seating Available or bring your own chairs: Seating is available.
Admission Fee: No admission fee.
Concessions: Food and beverages available for purchase.
Carry-ins allowed (food &/or drink): Snacks and drinks are allowed, no alcohol will be permitted.
Merchandise: No
Are Signs or Noise makers allowed: No noise makers, signs are allowed.


CHECK-IN: Check in is available from 8-9am with the events beginning at 9:30am
1. Check-In at 8:00am until 9:00am
2. Judges/Coaches Meeting
3. National Anthem and Presentation of Masters
4. Forms
5. Weapons
6. Breaking
7. Sparring (Olympic, and Dado in Ring 1)

Awards will be presented throughout the day.
