WAUSAU MARATHON VOLUNTEERS

Volunteers are needed for a variety of activities before, during, and after the Wausau Marathon.  If you are not able to run but would still like to be part of the action, think about volunteering your time and energy to a great race.  All volunteers receive a t-shirt and meal for helping support a great event.

All volunteers are required to provide a cellphone number so that they can be contacted by organizers on race day in case of emergencies or last-minute changes.  In the event of a delay or cancellation, organizers will send out a broadcast text message (SMS) to all volunteers and staff alerting them to the change. These numbers will not be used for any other purpose nor shared with any outside organizations.
