Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum
The Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum, featuring world-class art
exhibitions, is truly the museum for everyone. An array of programs
are offered for people of all ages and life stages, and the museum is
committed to always being admission-free.
The diverse changing exhibitions, enlivened by programs for all ages
and artist residencies, include an interactive family gallery. Visitors
from babies and toddlers to teenagers and adults are welcome to
participate in many diverse hands-on art programs and projects.
Offering outstanding barrier-free handicap access, the facilities are
fully accessible to all individuals with mobility issues. Curbside van
parking is available in the parking lot nearest the main entrance.
Elevators, ramps, and automatic doors allow full access to the
galleries. Individuals with vision impairments can embark on multi-
sensory explorations of the visual arts and engage in hands-on art
projects. Individuals with memory-loss are welcome to participate
with a friend, family member, or partner in engaging art experiences.
Each program includes a creative, art-making activity.
