Wildflower Hike on Ice Age Trails

Central Moraines Chapter of the Ice Age Alliance would like to invite you to hike the “Ice Age Trails” with us. Starting at 10 am, on Saturday May 16, 2020, we are hosting a hike on the Plover River segment in northwest Marathon County (in the Eau Claire dells area). We meet in the Ice Age parking lot on Hwy 52 (approx. 25 miles east of Wausau). Participants will be able to hike as little- or as much- as they’d like. Experience this truly unique Wisconsin adventure by taking a leisurely (out and back) saunter exploring and identifying spring wild flowers. The hike is through shady wilderness, across a babbling river, and along the Ice Age terminal and recessional moraines. Join us with your family, friends, and pets (on leash) for a memorable hiking experience along the Ice Age Trail. You’re sure to have a great experience together.
