WELCOME to Wausau Skeet & Trap Club for the Badger State Games TRAP Shooting Competition!

3-4 fields are available to accommodate 15-20 shooters per flight time/per hour.   

Shooters will remain on the same field to shoot their 100 rounds.

11:00 AM 15 shooters
12:00 PM  20 shooters

5:00 PM AWARD CEREMONY!

Athlete Information:

Please arrive 30 minutes prior to the start of your flight.
Shooting time reservations will be assigned online. Any shooter registering by mail please list 3 timeslots of choice.
Entries accepted on a first come first served basis.
Onsite entries welcome and will be assigned shooting time based on availability.

Printable Registration Form
All athletes MUST sign the Badger State Games Athlete Waiver online during registration or on the printable registration forms at check-in. Please fill out the form completely or it will not be accepted. (Waiver is attached to the registration form).

  Classes: Competitors enter and medal in one CLASS OR DIVISION only

SHOOTING CLASSES:
96% and over AAA
92% and under 96% AA
89% and under 92% A
86% and under 89% B
82% and under 86% C
Under 82% D

JUNIOR DIVISIONS:
(Age as of event date)

Birth certificate or other proof of age required onsite.
Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals will be awarded to the top males and females in each age division.   
Juniors may instead choose a Shooting Class AAA to D as defined above.

13 and under
14-15
16-18

ADULT DIVISIONS:
Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals awarded to the top males and females in each shooting division, AAA to D.

SENIOR DIVISIONS AGES 65+: 
Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals awarded to the top males and females in the Senior Division.
Seniors may instead choose a shooting Class AAA to D as defined above.

Rules:
Badger State Games - Wisconsin residents and non-residents are eligible to compete.


GENERAL RULES:
Practice limited to available fields, targets available at normal club prices.
Everyone on the course (shooters, scorers, and spectators) MUST wear eye and ear protection. 

EQUIPMENT:
Shells available at normal club prices.
Re-loaded shells may be used subject to inspection per applicable ATA rules.
Competition conducted as per ATA standards. 

Spectator Information:
For those that want to cheer on our athletes, here are a few tips:

Best place to view the event & how much you can see: Spectators will have full view of the event/athletes while they are competing.
Seating Available or bring your own chairs: Limited outdoor seating.
Admission Fee: Not for spectators.
Concessions: Yes, concessions on site.
Carry-ins allowed (food &/or drink): No
Merchandise:
Are Signs or Noise makers allowed: No, noisemakers not allowed since this is a concentration sport; signs okay.
Other Information: Eye and hearing protection; available for purchase at club/venue.
