Badger State Games
Badger State Games The Badger State Games are Wisconsin's premier, amateur sporting event that keeps the competitive spirit burning brightly for amateur athletes throughout Wisconsin and surrounding states. Summer games are held in June at various locations, while winter games are held at the end of January and the beginning of February in the Wausau area.

Central Wisconsin Water Walkers
The Water Walkers, or the Central Wisconsin Water Ski Show Team, is a non-profit organization that promotes safe show skiing. The team performs Sunday evenings on Lake Wausau June through Labor Day and Thursday evenings at Lake DuBay in July and August.

Mosinee Papermakers Great Lakes League Hockey
One of ten teams in the Great Lakes Hockey League, the Mosinee Papermakers play from November through March at the Mosinee Recreation Center. All home games start at 8:00 pm.

Ringle Brickyard Speedway
The Ringle Brickyard Speedway is one of Wisconsin's newest kart race tracks. This challenging one-fifth mile tri-oval with high banking, wide corners, long straightaways and a tight hairpin corner is the fastest kart track in the state.

State Park Speedway
For over 35 years guys like Dick Trickle, Dave Marcis, Bobby Allison, Mark Martin, and Scott and Chris Wimmer have all competed at this quarter mile racing oval, known for great late model and stock car racing action. Weekly Thursday night races from May to September.

Walter Zych Park
This beautiful ¾-acre, wooded neighborhood park provides an excellent play area for children to use for a ball field, soccer, basketball, and other games along with a picnic area. The park also includes a paved basketball court with two concrete standards, a softball backstop, concrete culverts, jungle gyms, picnic tables, small child slide, four-seat bouncer, junior whirl, sand volleyball court, balance beam, drinking fountain, swings, teeter-totter, E-Z digger, and concrete climbing turtles.

Wisconsin Woodchucks Northwoods League Baseball
One of seventeen teams in the Northwoods College League, the Wisconsin Woodchucks play at historic Athletic Park in Wausau. The Northwoods League has more teams, plays more games, and draws more fans than any other Summer Collegiate Baseball League in North America, providing great family-friendly entertainment.
